The Unicorn Academy of the Heart invites you to come fall with us into the Heart of Gaia.

As autumn releases her leaves, we are invited to let what has been worn out at last fall away,and make room for wonder, imagination and possibility to return.

Inspired by Ariel Spilsbury’s Gaia’s New DreamCoat: A Faerie Guide to Gaia’s Greening,a mythic adventure in consciousness,this autumn journey invites us to awaken the Magical Child and become weavers, dreamers and mythmakers of Gaia’s New Dream.

REMEMBER THE MAGIC

The Magical Child has never really left us.

Beneath the responsibilities, old stories and identities we have gathered along the way lives the one who still knows how to wonder.

This autumn, we’ll rekindle the flame of remembrance and reconnect with the imagination, innocence and innate magic that bring us back into relationship with our own nature,and with the living nature of Gaia.

As the leaves fall, we’ll ask:

What is ready to be released?
What has been worn out at last?
And what new possibility is waiting for the space to emerge?

PUT IT INTO YOUR HANDS

We won’t only talk about magic.

We’ll make it.

Guided by the archetypes and magical tools of Gaia’s New DreamCoat, we’ll begin creating our own:

The Magical Child’s Transformational Toolbox

Through simple hands-on making, everyday objects become remembering devices.

A pen can become a Mythic Rescripting Pen, inviting us to rewrite an old story that no longer belongs to the Dream we are weaving.

A strand of thread can connect us with the Light Loom, reminding us that every thought, choice and act of imagination adds something to our shared tapestry.

Seeds, stones, clay, color, natural treasures and handmade objects can become invitations to bring imagination out of our heads and into our hands.

Hands to Heart.
Heart to Earth.
Earth to We.
We to the Dream.

LISTEN FOR THE DREAM

Sometimes the Magical Child awakens through making.

And sometimes we simply need to be tucked inside a story.

Throughout our autumn journey, we’ll weave in Stories to Dream By,audio adventures from Gaia’s New DreamCoat that can be enjoyed before sleep, during a quiet afternoon, or whenever the imagination is asking to be nourished.

We may meet Honeydew Hearing Horn, the Magical Unicorn, whose Hearing Horn invites us to listen beneath the noise of everyday life for our own unique magic,Ah Whizzywig.

And here another bridge appears:

The Elder carries the wisdom.
The Magical Child keeps the impossible possible.
And the Unicorn stands between them as the bridge.

A bridge between wisdom and wonder.

Between what we have learned and what we can still imagine.

Through story, we rekindle the flame of remembrance and remember that we are never too old to make magic.

WEAVE IT INTO THE WORLD

At the heart of our journey is the Light Loom.

A place,imagined and lived,where the individual strands of our lives begin to weave into something larger.

Together we’ll ask:

What dream are we feeding?
What thread are we weaving?

None of us has to create Gaia’s New Dream alone.

We are weaving it together.

Every small act of beauty, imagination, creativity, kindness and Earth connection can become another luminous thread in the Dream.

PLAY THE DREAM AWAKE

What if Gaia’s New Dream does not have to be struggled into existence?

What if we can...

make it,
plant it,
write it,
weave it,
dream it,
laugh it,
love it...

and play the Dream awake?

This is regenerative magic.

Rekindling imagination within ourselves.

Re-greening our relationship with the living Earth.

Restoring wonder to everyday life.

And remembering that magic may not be somewhere else at all.

It may be waiting in our hands.

THE AUTUMN JOURNEY

  • Falling Away + Remembering

    September begins at the autumn threshold.

    We’ll explore what is ready to fall away, reconnect with the Magical Child, open the DreamCode Gate of possibility and begin creating our Magical Child’s Transformational Toolbox.

    We’ll gather for two live Zoom circles during September to connect, explore the archetypes and magical tools, and share the Everyday Magic we are creating between gatherings.

    You’ll also have stories, creative invitations and practices to explore in your own rhythm between our circles.

  • Weaving + Playing the Dream Awake

    In October, we begin bringing the threads together.

    We deepen our relationship with the archetypes, stories, magical tools and Light Loom and ask how Everyday Magic wants to live through us,in our creativity, relationships, homes and relationship with Gaia.

    We’ll gather for two live Zoom circles during October, sharing what has emerged and exploring how our individual threads can become part of the larger Dream we are weaving together.

Our journey is designed to have both spaciousness and connection.

These circles will be places to connect, imagine, create, share discoveries, explore the archetypes and celebrate the Everyday Magic taking form in our lives.

Between gatherings, you’ll have time to explore the stories, magical tools, hands-on invitations and remembering devices in your own way.

There is no need to keep up.

There is only an invitation to show up, play, listen and discover what wants to emerge.

A gathering where the threads we have been weaving online can become tangible.

A space for making, weaving, storytelling, dreaming, laughing, imagining and exploring what happens when our individual magic comes together in one living field.

The details of this gathering will be allowed to reveal themselves as our autumn journey unfolds.

Avalon gathering details will be shared as we get closer. Participation will be optional and separate from the online journey.

For now, we simply leave the door shimmering open...
